It is her best weapon because it is her signature and provides the stats she needs. Its Crit Rate is low, but Augusta can compensate with Crit DMG from her set. It also provides DEF Ignore and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus. Older players who already own Verdant Summit do not have a strong need to pull her signature weapon.

Weapon effect
Increases ATK by 12%. Casting Intro Skill or Resonance Skill increases Heavy Attack DMG by 20% for 15s. Obtaining Shield allows Heavy Attack DMG to ignore 7.2% of the target's DEF for 7s, stacking up to 5 times. This effect is triggered once every 0.5s
3

Verdant Summit R1

ATK 587Crit DMG 48.6%

Jiyan's weapon is excellent on Augusta. The gap from her signature is around 8%-10% depending on the rotation. The 92% result requires activating Verdant Summit's passive immediately by using the first Liberation hit after Intro; the normal rotation leaves a gap of about 10%.

Weapon effect
Increases the DMG Bonus of all Resonance Attributes by 12%. Every time Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation is cast, increases Heavy Attack DMG Bonus by 24%, stacking up to 2 time(s). This effect lasts for 14s.
4

Ages of Harvest R1

ATK 587Crit Rate 24.3%

83.06%Cost 4 Crit DMG

Ages of Harvest remains a strong general Broadblade option because of its Crit Rate. Its Skill DMG passive is less useful for Augusta because most of her damage comes from Heavy Attacks; it mainly benefits the three Forte skills and the skill used to fill Forte.

Weapon effect
Grants 12% Attribute DMG Bonus. Casting Intro Skill gives the equipper Ageless Marking, which grants 24% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for 12s. Casting Resonance Skill gives the equipper Ethereal Endowment, which grants 24% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for 12s.

Augusta review

Review updated:

Augusta is a 5-Star Electro Broadblade main DPS built around three gauges — Prowess, Ascendancy, and Majesty — and a time-stopping burst state called Sublime is the Sun. She is an overwhelmingly Heavy Attack damage dealer: in the page's tested solo breakdown, Heavy Attack hits account for 82.53% of her damage, with Resonance Skill at 10.86% and everything else under 5%. In the tested Team DPS rotations she is the carry, dealing roughly 69–71% of her team's damage in her main structure.

The live Team DPS section is the authority for Augusta's current tested compositions, ordering, DPS values, and rotations. It updates from the validated Team DPS projection instead of freezing those values in this review.

Quick Verdict

Build Augusta if you like her and you have — or plan to pull — Iuno. Iuno's Outro grants 50% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification, and because 82.53% of Augusta's damage is Heavy Attack damage, no buffer in the game covers her more completely. Her number 1 tested team is Augusta with Iuno and Lynae, with the Shorekeeper version of the same core right behind it — more on this in Team Fit & Account Value. She is also easy to play at full efficiency: her tested rotation is difficulty 0 and identical in every tested team.

At S0 her kit is already complete — all three gauges, the time-stop burst, and her Outro function without sequences. S2 is the first major stopping point — the page's sequence chart jumps to 154% there. S6 is a whale ceiling, reaching 293% on the same chart.

Best teams8/10 — her tested cores sit comfortably above the middle of the validated projection, and all of them are difficulty 0
General teams6/10 — a tested 4-star Mortefi team works, but she drops clearly without a Heavy Attack amplifier
F2P valueComplete at S0, and Verdant Summit owners can honestly skip her signature
Whale valueVery high — S2 is a major spike and S6 nearly triples her baseline

How Augusta Works

Augusta's kit is a three-gauge staircase, and the rotation climbs it in order.

Step one — Prowess. Her Basic Attacks, Heavy Attacks, Skills, and Dodge Counters build Prowess (up to 100), and her Intro Skill refills it completely. A full Prowess gauge upgrades her Heavy Attack into the Thunderoar series — Backstep into Spinslash, or Uppercut if she jumps — her first damage spike.

Step two — Ascendancy. Dealing damage with Normal Attacks builds Ascendancy (up to 100), with big chunks from her Intro (20%), Warrior's Blade (10%), and her tap Liberation, Sword of Eternal Oath (40%). A full Ascendancy gauge turns her Skill into the Undying Sunlight chain: Strike > Leap > Plunge, a Heavy-Attack-typed finisher that consumes the gauge and grants 1 stack of Majesty.

Step three — Majesty and the time-stop. Majesty holds 2 stacks: one from Plunge, and one from her own Outro (her Inherent Skill also tops it up whenever she has been out of combat). At 2 stacks, holding the Liberation button casts Sublime is the Sun — it costs no energy, only the 2 Majesty. Augusta stops time for 7 seconds: enemies cannot act, switching is disabled, and only she moves, landing up to 9 Sunborne slashes before the Everbright Protector finisher — all of it Heavy Attack damage. Casting it also creates Ruler's Realm for 30 seconds, which shields teammates when they cast their Intro inside it.

Two smaller systems support the loop. Crown of Wills: each stack (granted by her Outro, capped at 1 at S0) gives 15% Electro DMG Bonus, consumed by Everbright Protector. Glory's Favor: Augusta shields herself every half second while dealing damage — a minor detail that her weapon and Echo set are both built on, as Build Priorities explains.

Her tested rotation — the same string in all four of her tested teams, difficulty 0, about 11.6 seconds of field time plus the stopped-time window:

Intro > Heavy (Thunderoar) > Skill > Heavy (Thunderoar) > Liberation: Sword of Eternal Oath > Skill 1, 2, 3 (Undying Sunlight: Strike > Leap > Plunge) > Liberation: Sublime is the Sun — Sunborne ×9 > Everbright Protector > Echo > Outro

The energy math behind it: the tap Liberation is what keeps step two fed (40% Ascendancy), and the page's 125% Energy Regen target is what guarantees that Liberation every rotation. The tested team notes add a practical detail: at 125% ER, casting one Echo per rotation is optimal — if a fight forces extra hits, the extra energy usually makes the second Echo unnecessary anyway.

One honest mechanic to know: while time is stopped, your teammates' coordinated attacks do not fire. Mortefi's Liberation follow-ups and Phrolova's off-field Hecate hits pause during Sublime is the Sun — the kit's "time is temporarily stopped" wording says it directly. It costs little in her tested teams, but do not pair her with off-field follow-up dealers expecting full value.

Build Priorities

Augusta's tested damage profile (solo, from the page's calculations): Heavy Attack 82.53%, Resonance Skill 10.86%, Echo 4.83%, Intro 1.78%. Build her as a pure Heavy Attack carry — Basic Attack DMG does nothing for her.

Sub-stat priority: Crit Rate > Crit DMG > ATK% > Heavy Attack DMG Bonus > Energy Regen (to the 125% target).

Build targets: ATK 2300–2460 with Electro/Electro Cost 3 (2700–2800 with ATK/Electro), Crit Rate 85–87%, Crit DMG 225–235%, Energy Regen 125%, Heavy Attack DMG 20–35%.

Talent priority: Normal Attack, Forte Circuit, and Resonance Liberation to 10; Resonance Skill and Intro Skill to 6.

Her best weapon is Thunderflare Dominion, her signature Broadblade, and the page puts Thunderflare Dominion R1 at 100%. Both halves of its passive are permanently active on her: casting her Intro or Skill grants 20% Heavy Attack DMG for 15s, and gaining a shield lets her Heavy Attacks ignore 7.2% of the target's DEF, stacking to 36% — and Glory's Favor gives her a fresh shield every half second, so the stacks never fall. She is a main DPS, so the standing recommendation is her signature — with one page-noted exception: Verdant Summit R1 sits at 92%, close enough that the page itself says owners of Jiyan's Broadblade do not have a strong need to pull Thunderflare Dominion. Note the fine print: the 92% requires activating Verdant Summit's passive immediately with the first Liberation hit after the Intro; in the normal rotation it lands around 90%. Behind those two: Ages of Harvest R1 at 83.06%, and the 4-star pair Autumntrace R5 at 76.36% and Aureate Zenith R5 at 75.86%, effectively tied.

When is the signature actually worth pulling? The site's Augusta–Iuno weapon study answers it at team level — one exact team and rotation, first rotation only, all weapons R1, and its numbers are for comparing weapons with each other, not for matching against the Team DPS page. The audited top scenario runs the full signature setup at 100%. Swapping Augusta's Thunderflare Dominion for Verdant Summit, her best alternative, drops the team to 95.18% (global rank 3 of 144) and Augusta personally to about 91%. Swapping Iuno's signature for Verity's Handle instead costs less: 96.96% (rank 2). And the floor is forgiving: even a 4-star Aureate Zenith at R1 keeps the team at 88.25%. So the pull priority inside her best team is Augusta's signature first, Iuno's second — and if you already own Verdant Summit, skipping Thunderflare Dominion costs about 5% of the team's first-rotation damage, which is exactly why the page tells Verdant Summit owners they can skip it.

Her Echo setup is 3-piece Crown of Valor with 2-piece Void Thunder, and The False Sovereign as the main Echo. The set is the same story as the weapon: gaining a shield grants 6% ATK and 4% Crit DMG for 4s, stacking to 5 — with her self-shielding every 0.5 seconds, the full 30% ATK and 20% Crit DMG are up permanently. The False Sovereign adds 12% Electro DMG and 12% Heavy Attack DMG in the main slot, and it also fires when she casts her Intro.

For main stats: Crit Rate on Cost 4, Electro DMG on both Cost 3, ATK on both Cost 1. The page's comparison puts Electro/Electro at 100%, Electro/ATK at 98.48%, and a Crit DMG Cost 4 at 98.12% — the gaps are small enough that sub-stat quality can flip any of these, so chase the better pieces over the exact layout.

Team Fit & Account Value

Her number 1 tested team is Augusta with Iuno and Lynae, tested in two variants (one with a jump-attack Lynae opener that lands slightly ahead), and the same core with Shorekeeper in Lynae's place — the "Augusta main team" — sits right behind it. The engine of both is Iuno: her Outro's 50% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification covers essentially all of Augusta's damage (the mirror image of Galbrena's case, where the same buff only covers a third), Augusta stays on the field for the buff's full 14 seconds, and Iuno still contributes real sub-DPS damage of her own while her domain heals and shields the team. The team notes carry two practical Iuno details: cancel her first Skill in the opening rotation, but let it play in later ones — she needs the energy for her own Liberation.

Lynae holds the third slot in her best structure — a second sub-DPS who keeps the team's damage spread healthy (Augusta's share there is about 51–52%, against ~70% with Shorekeeper), and the team notes credit Augusta herself with the team's Tune Break triggers. If you do not have Lynae, Shorekeeper is the tested third slot and the team loses little.

The budget option is Augusta with Mortefi and Shorekeeper: Mortefi's Outro grants 38% Heavy Attack DMG Deepen, which again matches her profile, and Augusta carries roughly 88% of that team's damage. It is a clear step down from the Iuno teams — that is the honest price of skipping her best partner — but it is tested and functional at difficulty 0.

Use the live Team DPS section for the current tested compositions, ordering, DPS values, equipment, and rotations — those cards update from the validated projection and are the only source for mutable team results.

Her honest limits: she wants a Heavy Attack amplifier, and without one her teams drop a tier; she gives her teammates little in return beyond Ruler's Realm shields and a single-target 15% all-attribute Outro amp; and her time-stop, powerful as it is, switches off her teammates' coordinated attacks — Mortefi's Liberation follow-ups and Phrolova's Hecate pause during Sublime is the Sun, so off-field follow-up dealers are anti-synergies, not partners. Opportunity cost also matters: Iuno and Lynae are both wanted by other premium teams, so check who else needs them before committing.

Sequence Value

Augusta is complete at S0 — all three gauges, Sublime is the Sun, Crown of Wills, and her Outro all function without sequences. The page's sequence damage chart: S0 100% → S1 119% → S2 154% → S3 178% → S4 191% → S5 191% → S6 293%.

  • S1 — Stained in Scorched Earth (5/5): Crown of Wills can hold 2 stacks, each stack also grants 15% Crit DMG, and her Intro grants a stack — so the buff is up every rotation. The Undying Sunlight chain becomes interruption-immune. Comfort and damage together.
  • S2 — Cleansed in Crimson War (5/5): The first major stopping point. Each Crown of Wills stack also grants 20% Crit Rate, and every point of Crit Rate above 100% converts into 2% Crit DMG, up to +100%. The math with her build targets: 85–87% Crit Rate plus 40% from two stacks puts her around 125–127%, converting to roughly +50% Crit DMG on top of S1's 30%. That is the jump from 119% to 154% on the chart.
  • S3 — Forged in Rot and Ruin (5/5): +25% damage multiplier on all of her main hits — the Thunderoar heavies, Plunge, Sunborne, and Everbright Protector. Simple and universal.
  • S4 — Ascent in Sun and Glory (3/5): Her Intro grants the whole team 20% ATK for 30 seconds. A team luxury, not a stopping point.
  • S5 — Unshaken in Wrathful Tides (2/5): Her self-shield from Glory's Favor grows by 50%. Pure defense — the chart does not move at all (191% → 191%).
  • S6 — Engraved in Radiant Light (5/5): Her whale ceiling. Crown of Wills holds 4 stacks, Crit Rate above 150% converts to Crit DMG (up to +50%), her Thunderoar heavies grant Crown stacks directly, and each one triggers Thunder Rage — two extra Heavy-typed hits at 100% of her ATK. This is the 293% on the chart.

For most players S0 is enough; S2 is the efficient vertical investment; S1 and S3 are both strong if you are climbing toward it.

Pull Value

Pull Augusta if:

  • You like her and want an Electro main DPS — for a DPS, enjoying the character comes first.
  • You own or plan to pull Iuno — no amplifier covers Augusta more completely, and the pairing is her tested best.
  • You want a carry who is easy to play at full efficiency — one tested rotation, difficulty 0, identical in every team.
  • You value the time-stop — 7 seconds where only Augusta acts is both damage and safety.
  • You can get Thunderflare Dominion, or you already own Verdant Summit — the site's weapon study puts the cost of skipping at about 5% of her best team's first-rotation damage, the rare case where passing on a main DPS's signature is defensible.

Skip or delay Augusta if:

  • You have no Heavy Attack amplifier and no plans to pull one — Mortefi works, but the team is a clear step down from her best.
  • Your teams lean on off-field coordinated attacks (Mortefi's Liberation, Phrolova's Hecate) — her time-stop freezes them.
  • You already have a built Electro carry and your account needs elemental coverage more than another Electro damage dealer.
  • Pulling her team together would mean taking Iuno or Lynae away from teams that need them more.
