Performance statistics use optimal Cost 4 main stats. If a weapon provides Crit Rate, Cost 4 Crit DMG is used. If it provides Crit DMG, Cost 4 Crit Rate is used. If it provides neither, Cost 4 Crit Rate is used by default.

1

Wildfire Mark R1

ATK 587Crit DMG 48.6%

100%Cost 4 Crit Rate

Lupa's signature is her best option. Its Liberation DMG supports the source that makes up roughly 70% of her rotation damage, and its 24% team Fusion DMG Bonus can raise overall team damage by about 9%. It is useful and also works well on Calcharo, but it is a quality-of-life and total-damage upgrade rather than a necessity if the team already has Changli's and Brant's weapons.

Weapon effect
Increases ATK by 12%. Performing Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation increases Resonance Liberation DMG by 24% for 6s. Dealing Heavy Attack DMG extends this effect by 4s, up to 1 time. Each successful extension gives 24% Fusion DMG Bonus to all Resonators in the team for 30s. Effects of the same name cannot be stacked.
2

Ages of Harvest R1

ATK 587Crit Rate 24.3%

86.73%Cost 4 Crit DMG

Ages of Harvest provides useful Crit Rate, but Lupa gains little from its Skill DMG passive because Skill DMG is not a major part of her rotation. Its main value is the Crit Rate.

Weapon effect
Grants 12% Attribute DMG Bonus. Casting Intro Skill gives the equipper Ageless Marking, which grants 24% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for 12s. Casting Resonance Skill gives the equipper Ethereal Endowment, which grants 24% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for 12s.
3

Verdant Summit R1

ATK 587Crit DMG 48.6%

86.53%Cost 4 Crit Rate

Verdant Summit provides valuable Crit DMG, but Lupa gains little from its Heavy Attack DMG passive because Heavy Attack DMG is not a major part of her rotation. Its main value is the Crit DMG.

Weapon effect
Increases the DMG Bonus of all Resonance Attributes by 12%. Every time Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation is cast, increases Heavy Attack DMG Bonus by 24%, stacking up to 2 time(s). This effect lasts for 14s.
4

Lustrous Razor R1

ATK 587ATK 36.4%

84.48%Cost 4 Crit Rate

Lustrous Razor provides the Energy Regen Lupa needs, high ATK, and a valuable Liberation buff. This is especially useful because Liberation DMG makes up around 70% of her rotation damage.

Weapon effect
Increases Energy Regen by 12.8%. When Resonance Skill is released, increases Resonance Liberation DMG by 7%, stacking up to 3 times. This effect lasts for 12s.
5

Autumntrace R5

ATK 412Crit Rate 20.2%

78.49%Cost 4 Crit DMG

Autumntrace provides Crit Rate, but its value stays below Lustrous Razor. Lupa normally activates three stacks; forcing more Basic Attacks is impractical in a fast support rotation. Even five stacks mainly buff Climax, the final hit of her rotation.

Weapon effect
Increases ATK by 12.8% upon dealing Basic Attack DMG or Heavy Attack DMG, stacking up to 5 time(s). This effect lasts for 7s and can be triggered 1 time(s) every 1s.
6

Waning Redshift R5

ATK 462ATK% 18.2%

71.75%Cost 4 Crit Rate

Waning Redshift is a good alternative when the higher options are unavailable. Its passive is easy to activate because Lupa's normal rotation starts with her Skill, whether she is filling Concerto in the first rotation or generating Energy in the second.

Weapon effect
Casting the Resonance Skill grants 10 Resonance Energy and increases ATK by 20%, lasting for 16s. This effect can be triggered once every 20s.
7

Autumntrace R1

ATK 412Crit Rate 20.2%

71.33%Cost 4 Crit DMG

This follows the same conditions as Autumntrace R5, but the passive provides less ATK.

Weapon effect
Increases ATK by 4% upon dealing Basic Attack DMG or Heavy Attack DMG, stacking up to 5 time(s). This effect lasts for 7s and can be triggered 1 time(s) every 1s.
8

Helios Cleaver R5

ATK 412ATK% 30.3%

70.51%Cost 4 Crit Rate

Helios Cleaver needs 8 seconds to reach all stacks. Efficient Lupa rotations usually finish before the fourth stack, so the full buff is not reliable. Missing the final stack does not cause a large damage loss, but the result depends on the player's rotation speed.

Weapon effect
Within 12s after Resonance Skill is cast, increases ATK by 6% every 2s, stacking up to 4 time(s). This effect can be triggered 1 time(s) every 12s. When the number of stacks reaches 4, all stacks will be reset within 6s.

Lupa review

Review updated:

Lupa is a 5-Star Fusion Broadblade support from Version 2.4, built to be the backbone of Fusion teams. Her kit revolves around two gauges — Wolflame and Wolfaith — that end in her forte finisher Dance With the Wolf: Climax, and a Resonance Liberation that hands the whole team its buffs: Pack Hunt (ATK and Fusion DMG Bonus) and Glory (Fusion RES ignore). Her Outro amplifies the incoming Resonator's Fusion DMG by 20% and Basic Attack DMG by 25%. She is a support, so do not judge her by her own numbers: in her tested teams she deals roughly a tenth of the team's damage in triple-carry structures, rising to about a quarter in dual-carry ones. What she provides is the buff package every Fusion carry wants.

The live Team DPS section is the authority for Lupa's current tested compositions, ordering, DPS values, and rotations. It updates from the validated Team DPS projection instead of freezing those values in this review.

Quick Verdict

Lupa is complete at S0 — Pack Hunt, Glory, her Outro, and the full Wolflame loop all work without sequences — and she is one of the easiest characters on the site to pilot: the same tested rotation string appears in all 21 of her tested teams — only her opening input changes depending on whether a teammate Intros into her. The verdict is straightforward: if you play Fusion teams, or plan to pull a Fusion carry, Lupa is worth pulling. She is the one support the element's cores are built around — Mono Fusion runs through her, Aemeath's tested Fusion structures run through her, and Galbrena's Fusion options run through her. The flip side is just as clear: she is a specialist. Outside Fusion teams her Fusion-keyed buffs have nothing to work on, so if your account has no Fusion damage dealer and no plans for one, she does nothing for you.

Best teams7/10 — her top tested structures sit in the top quarter of the validated projection
General teams3/10 — universal inside Fusion, nearly empty outside it
F2P valueHigh for Fusion accounts — complete at S0, and her signature is skippable
Whale valueModerate — S2 and S3 are team-value spikes, S6 tops her personal chart at 262%

How Lupa Works

Lupa's field stay is one short loop: fill Wolflame, convert it to Wolfaith, spend Wolfaith on her finisher, and let her Liberation carry the team buffs.

The gauges. Wolflame (100 max) fills from Normal Attack hits, her Skill, and her Liberation. At 50 points her Heavy Attack becomes Wolf's Gnawing and her Mid-air Attack Stage 3 becomes Firestrike — each consumes 50 Wolflame and grants 1 Wolfaith (2 max, lasting 10 seconds). Once she already holds 1 Wolfaith, the Heavy upgrades to Wolf's Claw, which works the same way — so a full gauge chain is Gnawing or Firestrike into Wolf's Claw for 2 Wolfaith. At 2 Wolfaith her Skill transforms into Dance With the Wolf — a hit counted as Resonance Liberation damage. Her Skill proper, Shewolf's Hunt, throws her banner to mark the target and unlocks the follow-up Feral Fang, which deals 50% more damage to the marked target; killing a marked target resets the Skill's cooldown.

The Liberation sequence — where her buffs come from. Fire-Kissed Glory consumes all Wolfaith, refills 100 Wolflame, and — if you press Basic or Skill in time — chains into Foebreaker, which consumes all Wolflame and puts her in Burning Matchpoint: Normal Attacks now restore 500% more Wolflame, so the gauge refills almost immediately. Reaching 2 Wolfaith inside Burning Matchpoint upgrades the finisher to Dance With the Wolf: Climax — her biggest hit, also counted as Liberation damage — which ends the state. Casting Fire-Kissed Glory also strengthens the whole team for 35 seconds:

  • Pack Hunt: all Resonators gain 6% ATK, plus 10% Fusion DMG Bonus — but only against Overlord Class and Calamity Class targets (bosses; against regular enemies that portion does nothing). With 3 Fusion Resonators in the team, the Fusion portion rises by another 10%. Each time any active Resonator casts their Intro, Pack Hunt is enhanced with another 6% ATK to the whole team, up to 18% total.
  • Glory: the team's attacks ignore 3% of the target's Fusion RES, plus 3% more per additional Fusion Resonator (up to 9%), plus a further 6% when the team has 3 Fusion Resonators — so 15% Fusion RES ignore in a full Fusion team, 6% with one Fusion teammate.
  • Protection: up to 3 times, if the active Resonator is hit or launched, they immediately recover and the hit counts as a successful dodge. A small but real comfort layer.

Wild Hunt and her enhanced Intro. Once Pack Hunt reaches its ATK cap — which happens naturally after two teammate Intros — Lupa enters Wild Hunt, and her next Intro becomes Nowhere to Run!: a heavy hit counted as Liberation damage that, at S0, removes Pack Hunt and Glory from the team. In practice this is how her second rotation opens — she cashes the enhanced Intro, then re-casts Liberation to reapply the buffs. One more off-field detail: for 8 seconds after Dance With the Wolf or Climax, Lupa lingers off-field and backs up the active Resonator's Liberation with a bonus hit (counted as Skill damage), once per rotation.

Her Outro amplifies the incoming Resonator's Fusion DMG by 20% and Basic Attack DMG by 25% for 14 seconds, ending early if they swap out. One character, one swap, and both halves must match the recipient's profile — this decides where she stands in every team's rotation order; see Team Fit & Account Value.

Tested rotation — first rotation (opening):

Skill > Liberation > Echo > Mid-air 1, 2 > Mid-air 3 (Firestrike) > Heavy Attack > Forte Skill (Climax) > Outro

Tested rotation — second rotation onward:

Enhanced Intro (Nowhere to Run!) > Liberation > Echo > Mid-air 1, 2 > Mid-air 3 > Heavy Attack > Forte Skill > Outro

Across all 21 tested teams only the opening input changes — the Skill when she opens the fight, her Intro when a teammate Outros into her — and the rest of the string never does. At about 7 seconds of field time it is one of the shortest support rotations on the site, and there is exactly one to learn.

Build Priorities

Her tested solo damage profile: Resonance Liberation 64.19%, Resonance Skill 21.58%, Heavy Attack 5.69%, Basic Attack 4.43%, Echo 4.12%. Build her as a Liberation damage dealer — but remember her job is buffing, and her personal damage is secondary.

  • Sub-stat priority: Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK%, Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus, Energy Regen.
  • Build targets: ATK around 2,050–2,160 with Fusion/Fusion Cost 3 (2,300–2,450 with ATK/Fusion), Crit Rate 74–78%, Crit DMG 270–280%, Energy Regen 130%, Liberation DMG Bonus 20–35%. The Energy Regen target is not a kit cap — her Liberation applies Pack Hunt and Glory, so the entire support package rides on casting it every rotation; 130% is the tested comfort point for that loop.
  • Talent priority: Normal Attack Lv. 10, Forte Circuit Lv. 10, Resonance Liberation Lv. 10, Intro Skill Lv. 10, Resonance Skill Lv. 6.

Her Echo set is 5-piece Flaming Clawprint with Lioness of Glory as the main Echo. The set is made for a Fusion support: the 2-piece gives 10% Fusion DMG, and the 5-piece grants all Resonators 15% Fusion DMG Bonus — plus 20% Liberation DMG Bonus for Lupa herself — for 35 seconds when she casts her Liberation, matching Pack Hunt's and Glory's duration exactly. Lioness of Glory adds 12% Fusion DMG and 12% Liberation DMG in the main slot. For main stats: Crit Rate or Crit DMG on Cost 4 (matching the weapon), and the page's Cost 3 comparison is a wash — Fusion/ATK at 100%, Fusion/Fusion at 99.38%, ATK/ATK at 98.29% — all three within noise, so sub-stat quality decides.

Weapon guidance — her signature can be skipped. Wildfire Mark is her best option (the page's 100% baseline): 24% Liberation DMG on her Intro and Liberation, and a 24% team Fusion DMG Bonus when its effect is extended, which the page estimates at roughly 9% more total team damage. But the page's own note frames it correctly: it is a quality-of-life and total-damage upgrade, not a necessity — especially if the team already carries Changli's and Brant's signatures. For a support, that makes Wildfire Mark a luxury purchase for premium Fusion teams. The honest alternatives perform closely for her personal damage: Ages of Harvest R1 at 86.73%, Verdant Summit R1 at 86.53%, and Lustrous Razor R1 at 84.48% — the last also covering her Energy Regen need with a Liberation buff attached. Autumntrace R5 at 78.49% and Waning Redshift R5 at 71.75% are the 4-star routes.

Team Fit & Account Value

Lupa fits any Fusion team — that is the design. Her package has two layers, and they scale differently: Pack Hunt's ATK is raw attack, which only ATK-scaling damage dealers convert fully, while Glory's Fusion RES ignore, the Fusion DMG bonuses, her set, and her Outro's Fusion half work for any Fusion damage dealer regardless of how they scale. In practice every Fusion carry in the game today scales with ATK, so she currently lands at full value everywhere in her element — and if a Fusion character ever scales with HP or DEF, she still benefits their team through the Fusion-keyed portions, she just shines brightest in ATK-scaling teams.

Her strongest tested structures are the Aemeath teams, and the top two test almost identically, so there is no single number 1 here: Aemeath (Rupture) with Lupa and Lynae, and Aemeath (Fusion Burst) with Lupa and Denia. Read them honestly, though: Aemeath's own best-tested team runs Lynae and Mornye without Lupa, and Lupa is the Fusion-flavored amplifier in her second structure. In these triple-carry rotations Lupa opens the fight and her Outro lands on the middle slot, never on Aemeath — with Lynae both halves miss (she is Spectro, and her tested rotation presses no Basic Attacks), with Denia only the Fusion half applies (her damage is 88.48% Liberation). Lupa's real contribution in these teams is the team-wide package: Pack Hunt, Glory, Flaming Clawprint, and her personal rotation damage.

The famous team: Mono Fusion — Changli, Brant and Lupa. This is the designed triangle, and the Outro chain is the whole case for it: Lupa's Outro (Fusion + Basic Attack) lands on Brant, whose damage is 80.66% Basic Attack; Brant's Outro (Fusion + Skill) lands on Changli, whose damage is 65.45% Skill; Changli's Outro (Fusion + Liberation) lands on Lupa, whose damage is 64.19% Liberation. Every buff lands at full value, Brant's sustain covers the team, and it runs at difficulty 1 in the middle of the projection. Two warnings from the tested data: the triangle is complete only together — Changli and Lupa with Shorekeeper tests near the very bottom — and swapping Changli for a newer carry does not automatically help: the tested Galbrena 3 Wings with Lupa and Changli team note flags that Changli wastes the Basic half of Lupa's Outro while the rotation runs too long.

Beyond the triangle, she is tested across the Fusion roster: Galbrena 3 Wings with Lupa and Brant or Qiuyuan (her Outro goes to the middle slot there; Galbrena herself only ever wants the Fusion half), Mono Fusion variants where Brant, Changli, or Galbrena headlines with Lupa and Mornye, and the Aemeath dual-core structures with Shorekeeper or Chisa. Encore, Mortefi, and Chixia round out her listed Fusion partners for older accounts, though none of these pairs are in the tested projection yet.

Use the live Team DPS section for the current tested compositions, ordering, DPS values, equipment, and rotations — those cards update from the validated projection and are the only source for mutable team results on this page.

Her honest limits: she is Fusion-locked — outside the element, Pack Hunt's Fusion portion, Glory, and her Outro's Fusion half all go dark; her Outro reaches exactly one character per rotation, so triple-carry teams must choose who receives it; the Pack Hunt Fusion DMG portion only activates against boss-class enemies; and at S0 her enhanced Intro strips her own team buffs, which the rotation simply re-applies — a quirk, not a cost, but worth knowing before it surprises you.

Sequence Value

Lupa is complete at S0 — the full buff package, the Wolflame loop, Climax, and her Outro all function without sequences. The page's sequence damage chart is her personal damage: S0 100% → S1 115% → S2 131% → S3 175% → S4 210% → S5 217% → S6 262%. One transparency note from the page: the chart is calculated in a 3-Fusion team, and the S5/S6 values use her second rotation, where Pack Hunt's enhanced ATK inflates the displayed percentages by about 5 points. For a support, also remember the chart cannot show team-wide value — S2 and S3 are worth far more to the team than to her own numbers.

  • S1 — Behold the Nameless One (5/5): Fire-Kissed Glory restores 10 Concerto Energy and grants her 20% Crit Rate for 10s, and Climax gains interruption immunity. Rotation smoothing and comfort (115%).
  • S2 — Every Ground, Her Hunting Field (5/5): Casting Fire-Kissed Glory, Wolf's Gnawing, Wolf's Claw, or Firestrike grants the whole team 20% Fusion DMG Bonus for 30 seconds, stacking up to 2 times — up to 40% team-wide Fusion DMG. Her first real spike (131%), and most of its value never shows on her personal chart.
  • S3 — Wolflame Howls in Her Wake (5/5): The team-building unlock. Pack Hunt's enhanced Fusion bonus no longer requires 3 Fusion Resonators, and Glory becomes a flat 15% Fusion RES ignore for the whole team regardless of composition — dual-Fusion and mixed teams get the full package. Nowhere to Run! also gains 100% multiplier (175%). The node that makes her truly universal inside her element.
  • S4 — High and Aflame Is Her Banner (3/5): Climax's multiplier increases by 125% — a large bump on her biggest hit, purely personal (210%).
  • S5 — Embrace the Thunderous Triumph (3/5): Her Intro grants 15% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus for 10s — small and personal (217%).
  • S6 — To the Brightest Flaming Star (4/5): Her three biggest hits (Fire-Kissed Glory, Climax, Nowhere to Run!) ignore 30% DEF, Feral Fang can refill 100 Wolflame once per 20s, Climax becomes usable outside Burning Matchpoint, and Nowhere to Run! no longer strips Pack Hunt and Glory — the 262% ceiling, for dedicated Lupa mains.

Realistic stopping points: S0 covers everything she does. S2 is the efficient team-value spike for Fusion-focused accounts, and S3 is the point where she stops caring about team composition. Everything past that is personal damage on a support.

Pull Value

Pull Lupa if:

  • You play or plan to play any Fusion carry — Aemeath, Galbrena, Brant, Changli, Encore — she is the one support the element's teams are built around.
  • You own or plan to pull Brant or Changli — the Mono Fusion triangle is her famous home, and it only functions complete.
  • You want one of the easiest support rotations in the game — one short string, identical in every tested team, about 7 seconds of field time.
  • You are an F2P or low spender building a Fusion core — she is complete at S0 and her signature is a skippable luxury.

Skip or delay Lupa if:

  • Your account has no Fusion damage dealer and no plans for one — outside her element her kit has nothing to amplify.
  • Your Fusion carries are already covered by their best-tested amplifiers — Aemeath's top structure runs Lynae and Mornye, and Galbrena's runs Qiuyuan or Lucilla; Lupa is the Fusion alternative there, not the requirement.
  • You are choosing between her and a carry — supports multiply damage, they do not create it; get the damage dealer you enjoy first, then Lupa to complete the team.
