Phoebe — For Phoebe to run smoothly and deal optimal damage, Rover Spectro can be the key support she needs. Phoebe requires Spectro Frazzle to function effectively, as her four Heavy Attack sequences originate from her Forte in Absolution Mode. In this mode, she gains a 256% damage amplification if the target has Spectro Frazzle applied. Although Phoebe can apply one stack of Spectro Frazzle upon activating Absolution Mode, that stack is removed after 3 seconds. This means only her first Heavy Attack and Liberation can benefit from the damage amplification — the remaining attacks won't, as the stack will expire. Rover Spectro shines here, as he can provide Phoebe with all the Spectro Frazzle stacks she needs. He also activates the Eternal Radiance set Phoebe uses by applying 10 stacks to trigger the Spectro buff in her set. Moreover, he can hold the stacks for 9 seconds, ensuring they aren’t removed too quickly. Rover can also use the Moonlit Clouds set if there is a healer on the team, like Shorekeeper or Verina. Alternatively, he can use the Rejuvenating Glow set if there’s another Sub‑DPS such as Mortefi (who is using Moonlit Clouds). This is in addition to the Spectro RES Shred he provides the team when activating his S6.

Zani — Rover Spectro can be played as a Sub‑DPS with Zani, but she won't reach her full potential without Phoebe. Still, Rover is a reliable option for Zani’s team. To maximize Blaze for Zani, multiple swaps and expert‑level rotations are required. Zani can benefit from any set Rover is using, and she also benefits from Rover’s S6, which provides a 10% Spectro RES Shred. However, Rover cannot buff Zani’s main sources of damage, such as Heavy Attack DMG or Spectro Frazzle DMG. Phoebe, on the other hand, can provide Spectro Frazzle via her outro skill and weapon when she is in Confession Mode. All in all, Rover is the best alternative if Phoebe is not available in the team.

Ciaccona — If you are playing a team with Mortefi and Rover alongside Zani or Phoebe and want to replace Mortefi, you can add Ciaccona. You might not get the same level of performance from this team composition, but it's still a viable option.

Verina — Verina is always a strong choice for any team that scales with ATK buffs. Using her with the Rejuvenating Glow set is ideal for ATK‑scaling teams. Her outro skill provides 15% DMG amplification to the entire team, which boosts all types of damage. She also has one of the fastest rotations in the game, and her S4 can further buff Spectro DMG for the entire team.

Shorekeeper — The Shorekeeper is generally the number‑one support option, except in very specific scenarios. She provides Rover’s team with 12.5% Crit Rate and 25% Crit Damage, offers essential healing (similar to Verina), and can protect allies from knockback effects caused by enemies.
